Terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

Zeal Cowork is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account, make a booking or use the space.

2. Fees

• Every account pays a one-time registration fee of ₹500. It is non-refundable. Once paid, you do not pay it again for that account.
• Monthly desk fees are paid in advance. The minimum commitment is one month.
• There is no separate security deposit. The first month's payment is the only upfront fee.
• A month's fee is not refunded once that month has started, or if your membership is ended under clause 5.

2a. Payment, cancellation and refunds

• Payment is confirmed only after the owner verifies it in the owner's account. Until then a booking shows as pending, and an unpaid booking is released after the hold period shown at booking.
• There is no cancellation and no refund of any fee once booked and paid.
• Exception: if Zeal cannot provide the seat, or does not open on the stated date, you can choose a full refund or a rescheduled start date.
• We issue receipts only. We do not issue GST invoices for now.

3. Founding launch offer

• Only the first 8 monthly seats get the founding launch price of ₹2,999 per month, first come, first served.
• The offer closes on 30 November 2026 at 11:59 PM IST, unless we extend it and say so on the site.
• Members who join before the offer closes keep ₹2,999 per month until the end of February 2027.
• From March 2027, these members pay a first-member price of ₹4,499 per month instead of the regular ₹5,999.
• We may change pricing for new members with notice.

4. Conduct

• Be respectful to everyone in the space.
• No smoking. No noise.
• Short calls are allowed in the hall. Long calls must be taken outside in the veranda.
• Guests are not encouraged. If a guest must visit, meet them in the veranda.
• No damage to property, no illegal activity, and no harassment or abusive behaviour.

5. Right to remove

Zeal may end any membership and ask a person to leave immediately, at any time, for misbehaviour, abuse, mischief, breaking these rules, or any conduct that disturbs others. The fee for that month is not refunded.

6. Unlawful conduct

Zeal may report unlawful conduct to the local police.

7. CCTV and privacy

CCTV operates in common areas, never in restrooms. We use your personal data only to run the service: your account, bookings, payments and safety in the space. See the privacy policy for details.

8. Liability

You are responsible for your own belongings and devices. Zeal is not liable for loss, theft, or interruptions to power or internet.

9. Amenities

Amenities may change. Items marked "Coming soon" are not promises or guarantees.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai have jurisdiction.
